iPowow Joins NewTek Developer Network

Audience Engagement Platform to Showcase its Market-Leading
Position with Top Technology Facilitator at 2015 NAB in Las Vegas

Los Angeles – April 10, 2015 – iPowow, the market-leading Participation TV company, announced today that it has been welcomed into the NewTek Developer Network, which will showcase the iPowow platform to attendees at the 2015 NAB conference in Las Vegas, April 13-15. This announcement follows the successful integration of iPowow’s audience engagement technology with NewTek’s TriCaster multi-camera video production system during the recent Red Bull Battlegrounds eSports event held April 6.

iPowow’s mobile app empowers millions of TV viewers to interact with programs seamlessly, naturally and individually, engaging them through polls, games, quizzes, and other participation experiences. TV networks, producers and major brands use the proprietary iPowow technology to gain feedback from its audience and let them weigh in on notable points of interest at that moment.

“Our native TriCaster integration provides an opportunity for a whole new client base to get creative and think of ways to engage their audiences in the story without having to worry about the technical hurdles.” Said iPowow Chief Creative Officer Colin Hornett.

NewTek is the market leader in providing hardware and software solutions for companies wanting to create and present network TV-quality productions at a fraction of the cost and much less equipment than had previously been required. From a studio control room, a desktop in a conference hall or a cart in the front-of-house, TriCaster is transforming the way people create network-style television content and share it with the world.

“We’re very excited to welcome iPowow into the NewTek Developer Network. We believe the future of broadcasting will include unprecedented audience participation and iPowow’s technology puts cutting-edge power in the hands of the viewer to become part of the shows they watch and love,” said Michael Kornet, executive vice president of Business Development for NewTek.  “Seamless integration between iPowow and TriCaster provides producers with unlimited creative potential to create shows of the future today.”

iPowow is featured on programming as diverse as NHL All Star Draft” on NBC Sports, “Modern Family” on USA and “Project Runway” on A&E.  In addition to “Red Bull’s Rampage” live stream, iPowow’s active engagement technology is also embraced by such brands as Target, Samsung and Lexus to connect the advertiser directly with consumers as they watch their favorite TV show.
